An overwatch streamer was making an epic climb when his account was banned during his live stream. The banning of players accounts by Activision Blizzard has become a huge concern for players in the overwatch world. One tricking appears to be the hot topic related to bans currently and with all the issues with destiny the last thing Blizzard needs at the moment is a mas exodus of one of it's most popular games because players can't play the characters they want.
Here is what the streamer had to say:
My accounts are Stevooo#1352 and PostBaloney#1457

Wanna see me get suspended yourself?

29hrs or so in total, I removed push to talk and had no way other than text chat to communicate with my team. Not switching heroes and not communicating in voice chat is not a bannable offense.
Griefing is :
Actively harassing or disrupting your own team through the use of GAME MECHANICS or player actions. This includes placing a Symmetra teleporter exit at a cliff edge, or intentionally allowing yourself to be eliminated by the enemy team (I.E feeding).
Griefing is NOT:
Simply making a mistake or playing poorly.
Poor teamwork is:
Not trying to complete map objectives or constantly communicating in a negative fashion (I.E. "this team is horrible.").
Poor teamwork is NOT:
Playing a hero that is NOT considered optimal by the community or staying silent in team voice chat.

Openly encouraging people to report me at the START of the game and admitting here https://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20759617517?page=17#post-339 that hes just going to report me no matter what I play.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
As you can see the players only real issue was related to not switching his character. Now in a game like overwatch team compositions is important, but when you have a high caliber player winning consistently with a specific character. It begs the question. Is the player playing an unpopular character the issue? Or simply the inability for other players to play well and switch themselves? We will keep you updated on the events on how these turnk out.
