Bandai Namco is holding an event on December 15th and it has been touted by Marcus Sellars on Twitter that “5 unannounced games will be shown at the event”. A tweet following this announcement that was later deleted stated that one of those would be a remastered Original Dark Souls coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.

Currently many games are being optimized for the Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro, but xbox has a leg up currently it taking old games and optimizing them through the inner hardware components as well going beyond standard emulation.

Bandai Namco will be hosting an event on December the 15th. 5 unannounced games will be shown off during the event. Nintendo will have a big presence at the event.

Dark Souls Deleted Tweet Referencing release on nintendo switch

If the tweet from Sellars proves to be true, the rerelease of Dark Souls as a remastered version for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch would be huge news for anyone who played the original game when it was released back in 2011 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Like with any rumor take the remastered rumor lightly for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch should be taken with a grain of salt until we see for sure on Dec. 15 during Bandai Namco’s event.
